Hallo im sorry if this already have been asked not so long ago. But dident fint any thread when i tog a quick look.

I would like to go from windows to ubuntu. But i got 2 harddrives and one of them i got some importent files on. So I was wondering is it possible to install ubuntu and put my "storage" harddrive to the PC and it will work without having to remove all from it and put a new file system on it? Right now its using NTFS on it.
Dueing the installing of a OS i take the harddrive out of the machine to make sure I dont end up formating it and os on.

Sorry for my bad english and hope this havent been asked to many times, and i have over looked the theards.
