Hi

I'm running Ubuntu atm
and i have 2 different Windows XP iso files

both times i tried to make it bootable by USB-Creator i get the msg
"this is not a desktop install cd and thus cannot be used by this application"
and as i understand it UNetbootin is only to make Linux distros bootable...

so is there another software that can make a Bootable USB with WindowsXP iso?

thx

Have a look here (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick), hopefully it will provide some clues.

Have a look on the MSFN forums (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?) where I think this has been discussed. Because of the way XP is built, it's nothing like as easy as creating one for linux distros.
