If you go in for Hallmark type holidays, you may be interested that today is the 10th annual System Administrator Appreciation Day.

So on that note - thank you to under-appreciated admins everywhere.

When I was a sysadmin I used to celebrate sysadmin day in the office - but nobody every bought me any gifts though :-(

Still, happy sysadmin day everyone!

Where would we be without sysadmins?

They take the secretaries to lunch on secretary day and the bosses on boss day. But nothing for the sys admins.

Hats off to all sysadmins everywhere, even those who by habit somehow manage to get up people's noses and even though my computer clock shows it to be Saturday August 1 here........ (it must be Tomorrow already)

Well, let's see...

1. Microsoft wouldn't have gotten such a foot-hold in business;
2. Knowedgeable and savvy employees could shine;
3. We'd have fewer businesses but those we'd have would probably be more successful;
4. No SysAdmin Day celebrations (this would be bad, we all need more reasons for pizza!)
