songbird broke and wont reinstall

i had songbird installed and running, plug-ins a plenty i did get but after i installed a sound sampler the whole thing slowed down so i had to restart it but it told me my library was corrupt and needed to be deleted to continue so i did but still wouldn't run so i used sudo aptiude remove songbird and am trying to reinstall it after re downloading the package from the site but it just wont install for me....... help please

in the terminal a long one but outside it just seems like its not responding

this was a stupid prob but i found a site to fix it just in case it happens to anyone else
