Yes, I know everybody hates vista but such is life..
I downloaded the wubi 9.04. My machine is a 64 bit Intel box.
I go to run wubi.exe and I get an immediate "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\hardisk2\DR2".
If I hit Cancel enough times (somewhere between 7 and 20 times) the box goes away and I get the Wubi installer. I fill every thing out, hit "Installl" and get the no disk error again and I get rid of it in the same way.
The download begins of Ubuntu 9.04 but never completes - it freezes and I have fairly decent DSL bandwidth. I figured it's usually the server but I have tried this repeatedly over the past 2 days. It usually has a download estimate time of 12 or 11 hours but will freeze in about 3.
Any insights would be appreciated.
