Delelting the .Motzilla folder allowed the default profile to return



I have lost partial control over this appilcation in that pages signal they are loading (forever) menu bar is there but does not respond back button and reload and stop are all greyed out. How do I get back to a default settings. also I can change home page.

How do I reinstall an application namely Firefox help please......

Go to the package manager in Xubuntu. I don't know what it uses.

Look for Firefox and mark it for reinstallation.

This might help. Otherwise something could be wrong with your Xubuntu.

you don't need to reinstall, just delete your ~/.mozilla folder an you'll have firefox as if you just loaded it for the first time.

just open thunar an press ctrl+h to show hidden folders/files.
