Hi everyone,

I'm a proud owner of the HTC Hero. I've installed a fresh copy of Jaunty two days ago on my new laptop and decided to connect my Hero using a USB cable. Guess what, no show.
So I tried lsusb and I did a dmesg | grep usb. See attachments for details.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx in advance guys.

Thats your guy right there. The G1 had the same problems! If I wasn't stuck on my iphone i'd post you a link but it shouldn't be that hard to find via some googling :)

Problem Solved. After playing around a little with the phone en reading some posts about the G1 it became clear that you have to give manually activate the mount on the phone so it can be mounted in ubuntu.

Greetz!
