View Full Version : [ubuntu] Multiply users and sound = failure

Hi,
I want to have 2 desktop users logged in at same time - and use sound.
This fails.

User A is logged into X session on VT-7 ( :0)
User B is logged into X session on VT-9 ( :1)

All is default (gnome, gdm, etc).

When I play sound in both users (for example totem, or anything else it seems), then if I am in VT-7 then B's sound is muted and vice-versa.

How to solve this problem?
