lmms install problems

Hi everybody, I installed lmms>linyx multimedia stidio< wine came with the install , but when I checked applications there is no lmms, I have wine.
I`ve tried re-installing lmms thru synaptics, no go...
I know there is a way in the terminal, I just don`t know the command
begginer, be patient.. thanks using 8.o4 converted to studio

Hi, you can try starting it from the terminal (Applications>Accessories>Terminal) with

lmms

Edit: You can also right click on the Desktop and choose to create a launcher and add
Name: Lmms
Command: lmms
Comment: blank

Another thing to check is "Main Menu" (System>Pref>Main Menu) that it is listed and that it has a tick next to it under Applications>Sound & Video

yeh...wine come with lmms...don't know Y ?.....

if it installed it is under Apllications>Sound&Video>Linux Multimedia Studio

or just
lmms in terminal
