mail server forwarding

I want to setup my own email server. I also want the server to get mail from other accounts like hotmail or yahoo and forward them to this server. Any suggestions or how to?

You need a mail server and fetchmail, though I'm not sure whether fetchmail works with hotmail and yahoo. Look at http://citadel.org - it has all the required features built in and installs in about 20 minutes flat.
