Hi
I installed ebox and all extra modules listed with apt-cache rdepends ebox | uniq

ebox did not give me what I wanted so I decided to remove it using apt-get.

Somehow this broke my computer ... it is no longer possible to access my website running on it. ftp and remote login also stopped working and the computer is no longer visible on my network. It takes extremely long time to log on locally on it.

How can I fix this,,, there is an webserver(apache) running on it with a Joomla website that I have spent quite some time to design. I really would like to save it....

I'm running Ubunto server 9

some extra information...

- when shutting down the computer,,, I get a failure..something with "ldap",,,, the message goes by to quick for me to read.

- I can access my Joomla site by using ip number as address, instead of computer name.

- After logging in,,,(which takes time) I gets the following error message. "Failed to initialize account for user Lasse: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED"

- The computer repeatably accesses the disk. Approx 5 sec intervall.

Hope this will give some more help to restore my computer.
