Hi guys!

Until recently I've never owned a computer with two hard drives. What I am wanting to do get set up is this:

Hard drive 1: All vista
Hard drive 2: Data partition and Ubuntu partition.

However, I want to use vista's boot manager instead of grub.

So I don't really know what to do since I've never had 2 hard discs.

Right now I'll be experimenting in 2 hard drive VM to see what I can figure out, but I'd still appreciate any tips! Thanks!

You would need the use of EasyBCD then.

Really simple tool that helps you set up multiple OSes in Vista's boot manager.

Wow, that looks alot simpler then using bcdedit!

So when I install Ubuntu to the second hard drive, would I install grub to the 2nd hard drive, or the partition ubuntu is on, on the 2nd hard drive? (hd1) vs (hd1,1), I believe.

Actually, looking at EasyBCD's options, it looks like I can do either, correct?
