While using the Package Manager or the Update Manager I get the following error.
The updates download properly but when installing I get:
Preconfiguring packages ...
dpkg: unable to read file triggers file '/var/lib/dpkg/triggers//File': Stale NFS file handle
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
A package failed to install. Trying to recover:
dpkg: unable to read file triggers file '/var/lib/dpkg/triggers//File': Stale NFS file handle
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 with the with most of the updates completed before the problem.
If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.
