Installation instruction for Brasero DVD Burner

I am trying to install Brasero DVD Burner but I am new to Linux and am still having some trouble navigating the terminal. The directions that come with Brasero DVD Burner are generic installation instructions and I can't figure them out. Can someone give me step by step instruction of how to install Brasero DVD Burner. File is saved in my desktop file folder.

What file and what instructions? Isn't Brasero included in the default Ubuntu installation? If you, somehow, don't have it, isn't it in the repositories?
