Hello i really hope this thread gets answered not like many others of my threads i am installing ubuntu netbook remix on my new vaio it has the gma 500 i wish to get the native resolution of 1600x765 and i have noticed that the computer is very laggy i have also noticed that the netbook launcher is taking up 30% of the cpu and the cpu is running at 100% all the time i need help thanks

The native resolution of the Vaio P is 1600x768 UWXGA.

You should be able to use that resolution editing xorg.conf (pre Karmic).

For all other issues try searching for "Vaio P".
