Hi guys.
I would like to install Ubuntu 9.04 on a 250 GB Toshiba portable hard drive. Currently I have a Compaq desktop with 2 internal hard drives. The first one is 160 GB with Windows Vista on it. The second one is 80 GB with Ubuntu 9.04 on it (with GRUB). I would like to install Ubuntu on my portable drive with maybe 50 GB for Ubuntu and 200 GB for FAT32 storage. I would like to boot from the portable drive from any computer through GRUB. The porblem is that I don't know where and how to install GRUB (on the portable drive) so that it won't overwrite GRUB on my internal drive and be able to boot from it from any computer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
