Im logged into a Windows XP machine trying to do a Wubi.exe install to setup a dual boot. Its a netbook so i have no CD drive, i have unpacked the ISO onto the desktop launched WUBI and it gives me and error:

Ubuntu Installer
An error occured:
Cannot download the metalink and therefore the ISO

Is there anyway i can install without an internet connection?
Thanks in advance.

try placing wubi.exe in the same folder as the ubuntu iso. it seems to have solved a lot of peoples' problem.

Okay the Log file says it finds my ISO now but WUBI is designed for an ISO 900MB and under, i have a custom Linux ISO thats 1.18G its the SuperOS version of Ubuntu. ANyone know how to make it recognize a larger ISO or know of another WUBI to recognize my larger Linux version?
