View Full Version : [xfce] workspace slide in xfce?

So I installed enlightenment (e16) to see what it's like. Long story short, I decided it
looks a little archaic for my tastes and I don't believe it is fixable since all the
screenshots I see of it are also pretty ugly (looks like windows 95 or something).

The bad news is I am addicted to enlightenment's workspace slide effect, the one where
it will automatically slide to the next workspace when it detects the mouse on that side
of the desktop.

My question is can XFCE do this? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the settings.
I would keep e16 as the window manager, but it has fudged up my wireless ( I installed
wicd to do wireless and it was pretty flaky, so I reinstalled gnome network manager and
now wireless connects but won't load any pages).

This is why I hate switching DEs and WMs...:'(

yes, its in the window manager advanced settings, just check the box in the wrap workspaces section & adjust the edge resistance you want.

Well, I thank you kerry_s, you made my night!

I probably should have looked harder for the option, though....:-\"
