installation failure

Im attempting to install ubuntu 9.04 via wubi onto an advent 4211(a.k.a MS Wind). once the windows part is complete and i do a reboot i select ubuntu and get a error message:

info: Application is missing or corrupt

anyone give me any means to fix this error

Wubi is a stubborn little beast. You have to make sure you let the computer shut down without any interferance, boot back into windows, then restart again and choose ubuntu. I don't know why it's this way, but that is the only way wubi will work =/
