I'm new to Ubuntu (I have version 9.04) and am trying to make it my main OS.
I have had difficulty with one aspect, and am hoping for some help. I have a folder of image files. I use Eye of GNOME 2.26.1 as my picture viewer. Inside of the folder the items are arranged (sorted) by modification date. However, when I view these images through Eye of GNOME 2.26.1, and use the next/previous button, instead of going to the next file in the order of how I have the items arranged in the folder, it moves through the images based on their file names (asending or descending).
I can't seem to make this next/previous functionality sync with the way my image files are actually arranged in the folder (which is by modification date).
Any ideas on this?
I feel like I'm missing something really obvious here. Please tell me that I am. :)
Thanks!
