I've searched and searched and searched...but nothing is working.

Version: Ubuntu 9.04

Initial Problem:

Unable to disable the behavior of windows snapping to upper left-hand corner.

Tried solutions:

Installed CCSM
Disabled "Snapping Windows" option
Enabled "Wobbly Windows"
Disabled "Snap Windows" option withing Wobbly Windows

Helpful details:

Using Ubuntu through USB
Rebooted between all solutions
***No settings changes in CCSM seem to do anything***

Can someone please help. I'm a network admin so I'm not completely stupid. I loved Ubuntu 8 and would like to switch over from windows...but little things like this are very annoying and the I cannot find any support. I just joined the forum so I'm not sure how to follow-up to any responses. I'll be watching this thing like a hawk. Email me at WayneDangerous@gmail.com if you think you can help. Thanks for looking.

Thank you for your response. I may have to create a new thread because the major problem is that none of the setting changes I make in CCSM seem to take effect on the system. Once again I am running ubuntu from a USB drive. I don't know what difference that would make but obviously something is not going right. Has anyone had a similar experience? I would appreciate any help. Thanks for looking.
