Hello,

I've tried installing Ubuntu 9.04 on a parallels installation I have running on Mac 10.4.11. This is my first time with Ubuntu.

Feeling really frustrated though...although I've configured it to automatically log in (is there anyway to DISABLE LOGIN btw, as I just want to try it out and really do not need this feature)

Well, it just logs in. The main UI appears, and then it goes to login again....and again...and again.... I have to use kill (PID) number in my Mac terminal to kill Parallels.

What gives? This is truly horrible. I don't know If I'll be becoming a fan of Ubuntu anytime soon, if this is how it works. Anyone used Mandriva :( ?

You may want to try contacting Parallels support concerning the issue:
http://www.parallels.com/support/

To enable automatic login:
Go to System > Administration > Login Window and enable automatic login under the security tab.
