I am a complete newbie to ubuntu. Could anyone write me a tutorial on how to install beryl (http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=MCT&ei=s9FtSvKpF6ShjAeeiqSeCw&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=How+to+install+ubuntu+beryl&spell=1) I would very much appreciate it. I don't have the slightest clue on how to.... ive tried searching google but everything I have tried doesnt work :( I hope this is the right place to post this.

Beryl is deprecated; compiz-fusion is installed by default, to enable it go to menus System, Preferences, Appearance, Visual Effects, and check 'Normal' or 'Extra'. You might want to install compizconfig-settings-manager to fine-tune the settings. Here's more info: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CompositeManager/CompizFusion
