Hi!
This is the first time I am using Ubuntu for Linux. I am a bioinformatist and i want to install the softwares in /usr/local but I am unable to copy any files there. It tells u do not have write permission. Can anyone plz tell me how to set up the write permission or anyother way of installing these softwares..
