OK, I have this 10-12 year old printer sitting by my computer that I need to get to work with Ubuntu. That's cool, right? Well, this is a Compaq IJ600 that was always a little clunky, but I sort of got it to work with a Lexmark Z32 driver. Call me easily impressed, but I was just glad it didn't start spewing ink all over the curtains. :P
So I happily print a few test pages and, upon examination, discovered they were all completely blank. ](*,) I tried several colors, but all in vain. I don't know if it's the ink, which might have dried up or run out (can't check the ink levels) after all this time, or if my computer is not successfully communicating with the %@#&!$ thing. So why can't my computer print, do you think?
