Is there any linux utils like Epson SmartPanel?

Hi guys,
I am wondering if there is any linux graphical utils to manage saner, printer and fax like Epson SmartPanel. I have a Epson Perfection 1660 Photo scanner and a samsung printer connected to the network. I want to be able to scan a document then send it to either the printer or fax it using the phone line. Right now i have to dual boot with xp just to do that kind of task.

'Sane' is in the package manager but go to the above link and there will be a link to which scanners it will cover.
