View Full Version : [ubuntu] Firefox goes ape

Any particular reason anyone can think of why Firefox would go completely nuts and use 90% of the processor and drive the temperature up to 60c when all you're doing is watching an embedded YouTube video in a forum?

Using Ubuntu 8.10 and whatever version of Firefox Dell shipped with it.

It doesn't happen all the time, but WTF... Firefox seems to be a lot more of a resource hog than it was on any other OS I've used. Should I upgrade something here. :confused:

Yes you need to uninstall it first. lol.
