Hi! I was wondering if there was a game, similar to COD or Halo, that was available for Linux. I mean, sure, Ubuntu isn't really made for gaming as it were, but I've played the aforementioned on a friend's X-Box and highly enjoyed it. Therefore, I go to my original question: Is there something similar available for Ubuntu. It doesn't have to be in the repositories, I don't even mind having to compile something from the source... Just want to have a go!

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=359842 this thread is in the Gaming & Leisure forum. It has links to other sites dedicated to linux gaming it would probably be your best bet to finding one. I have played some FPS on linux but I am not familuar with the two games you asked about.
