I mean the 3 color cables that you would use for a dvd player or something, to a tv signal cable. I do not know the names of these cables. But is there a way?

yes.

Use this only if you do not have HDMI in back of your TV. You need something like this.

A "tv signal cable" are you talking coaxial or what? You're wanting to take component-cables and turn them into something but I have no idea what....Most TVs made in the last few years ought to have component inputs.

Okay, I found... an alternative solution to my problem. I have my sega dreamcast, and I wanted to display it on my black and white Karaoke machine that has a screen and an AUX input, but it uses A/V cables, whereas my dreamcast uses the TV cord to connect to a TV, so I hooked my sony VCR/DVD player up, and plugged the output of the dreamcast to the DVD/ VCR player, and set the output of the dvd player to the Karaoke machine using composite video cables. And set the dvd player to VCR mode and set it to channel 3. Well, it doesn't work. But I'll try to see why, the screen works fine.

If your TV accepts A/V cables (RCA connections, composite video w/stereo audio), why not just buy the correct cable for your dreamcast? Link: http://www.amazon.com/InterAct-Stereo-V-Cable-Sega-Dreamcast/dp/B00000K13H
