Google Gadgets not saving settings after reboot...

So, i installed google-gadgets, but they don´t want to save my settings after restart. The gadgets are detached from sidebar, i added more transparency, changed size...

Any fix for this?

And sidebra always pops-up after reboot...although i detached all gadgets...

has this issue ever been fixed? I'm having the same problem, only solution I found was exiting gadgets before shutting down - are there easier ways?
