tilp installation

Can someone tell me how to install the latest version of tilp? At first i am trying to install the tilibraries and i get the message ''ticables2 is missing''. What should i first install before tilp? Are there any other setting that i should do? I have the ti 82 model and i am using the black serial cable. Thank you :-)

If you are compiling it from source, try installing the libticables2-dev package

sudo apt-get install libticables2-dev
