i have successfully( i think )installed ubuntu on to a 8 gig jump drive.
however instead of getting the GUI when i start it up i get the busy box powered by ash shell
i used "unetbootin" to do the install, and i believe that is the bootloader that is on the jump drive now.
i'm not sure where to go, or if its because i used unetbootin.

anyway the main goal here is to get ubuntu on to the stick and beable to boot from it (into a GUI)

i have used unetbootin to run live sessions from a 2gb pen drive. It works fine. i have changed the boot option to start booting from a usb drive first. now if my pen drive is inserted ubuntu is started.

yes i know the whole BIOS set up but when you boot from that jump drive do you go into the Ubuntu GUI or do you go to Busy Box with the ash shell...(of which i am not familiar with the ash shell commands, but it does seem much like bash)

what i want is the GUI to open up, not Busy Box
