View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to Uninstall 7.10 Gutsy from 2007 Mac Mini?

July 24th, 2009, 06:43 PM
I used rEFIt, version 0.10 to create a dual boot, to try out the waters, but now, a few years later, I'm running out of HD space And I'd either like to seriously shrink how much HD space it takes (say, from the current 25GB to 5-10) or just get rid of that partition all together, and perhaps some day try re-installing the latest version.

The main criteria is: what is the simplest, most fail-proof? I somewhere lost my OS X DVD, so if the system crashes and I need to re-install OS X I'm going to be out of a computer until I buy and receive a new disk, if I can even do that.

In any case, If I need to get a new OS x DvD before proceeding fine, just please tell me what I need to do. I have zero clue. I only did the initial dual boot from following a detailed step-by-step.

thank you for your time ubuntu friends
