whenever I download it all i get are source files, no package files, how do I install it?

Unpack the file,inside there will be a readme file.
Think you will have to compile it.

..had a look at it.You do not have to compile,just extract the file
and doubleclick that mania2.sh file.

and start it in applications/games...
