how to install kde in ubuntu with gnome???

try


sudo apt-get kde

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

After all that finishes, if you would like to use KDE simply log out and select KDE under Sessions when you log back in.

yeh..this is the right way...if you want xfce the same way xubuntu-desktop
