I have dual booted ubuntu on vista twice in 2 days. Yesterday it crashed on ubuntu and I then wiped too much from my hard drive and had to reinstall vista. Today, after 5 hours of getting my vista going right again (after a 13 hour wipe), I tried to dual boot again. Everything went great till I tried to install drivers for ATI radeon/diamond X1650 PRO graphics card on ubuntu. Tried to restart and then ubuntu has crashed again. I tried to boot up ubuntu in recovery mode with no luck. PLEASE help me get this back to where I was an hour ago!!!! PLEASE!!! I do not want to have to go through the process of reinstalling vista again. I have my pc set to boot to ubuntu as default. When I tried to wipe just the partition for ubuntu yesterday I accidently wiped the "grub menu" I think, and I think thats where I screwed up everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want the ubuntu up and running but I want ALL it's capabilities as far as grphics, eye candy, etc. to play with. I just don't want the problems!!! Thanx for your help!!
