is it possible or is there ALWAYS a way to trace?, i managed to get tor set up today after an hour or two of troubleshooting, what worked in the end was tor and foxyproxy , anyway i have ff set up with refcontrol, noscript but as we know you can also disable javascript, cookies turned off , its
slow enough and tor is working properly,

now im not doing anything in particular , i just like to know that i can have anonymity if i choose, in my opinion i think it should be enabled by default , eventually the governments or somebody will try to police the internet, i value my privacy so im trying to learn all i can about it , im sure many of you know more, id like to hear your opinions and recommendations

With the TCP/IP protocol I would say the 100%, absolutely true anonymity is not possible. You can run your signal through however many proxies you want but somewhere there is a log saying what IP address it came from and they go to that IP, check that log and so on so forth until eventually they find you.

Second thought, if you were in a public place I guess it would be possible. But for day to day home usage see above.

Yes it is possible. But of course not with TOR etc.Only if you can edit your TCP-IP packets.
