Recordings of notes from instruments and vocals

Does anyone know where I can find free musical notes and vocals (say a database of all notes in all instruments for all lengths of time) and free so I can insert them into audacity and make a song?

Have you tried composing music in Midi? That's probably the best way to do it if you have no other musical talent.

That's studio samples you want, and they're pretty hard to get. Usually you have to go to a studio and pay them a lot of cash to get some here in Greece. I remember there was a site some years ago that had some, but they sucked big time.
