Hello:D
I want to help my retired neighbour and install Ubuntu on an "older" machine.
I have downloaded the 9.04 and will install now. I like to install open office for him, though have not internet connection on that machine. Can someone point me in the right direction which Open Office to download and how to install.

Thanks

So no need for xtra downloads?
Also another thing he wants is to be able to burn CD"s. Any recommendation for that?

Brasero Disc Burning utility is part of the default install as well.

Thanks for that.
The machine is setup and works very well considering the hardware is not the latest build.
No issues with drivers or anything.
Must say, Linux rocks!!
