Hi,

One day, I decided to disable the tapping on my touchpad. I accidentaly unchecked the neighbouring "Enable touchpad". It was my laptop. The touchpad is the only point device I have. Then Ubuntu became useless, because there was no point device. Finally I bowrrowed a mouse to solve the problem.

Technically, this is not a bug, but it is more destructive. Suggestion: check if touchpad is the only point device. If so, do not allow the user to do that. At least give a warning.

i agree that it is kind of a problem. kind of funny too...ok, probably not for you.

A nice warning message would be great.

Hehe, I managed to do that. Maybe suggest it at Ubuntu brainstorm? http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com
