I've recently installed Ubuntu Studio on a Mac Pro, by first installing regular Ubuntu using liveCD and then upgrading to Studio using this guide:https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuStudio/UpgradingFromHardy (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuStudio/UpgradingFromHardy)
Using one of the regular kernels, it works fine, studio layout and all programs working as they should. But when I try to start up form the RT kernel, I see a black screen for a couple of seconds, then some white stripes at the top of the screen, and then the computer restarts.
The computer mainly is for audio recording and production, so I'd really like to have the rt kernel working.
