Tired of the slow Firefox 3.0 performance under Ubuntu? Want to test the performance of Firefox 3.6 under Ubuntu? I can recommend to install Firefox 3.5 (Minefield) beside Firefox 3 so you can *test* and compare the latest version.It's a lot faster with loading flash pages like Youtube.

Step 11: Finally, tell Ubuntu to re-load the details of each software archive it knows about:
sudo apt-get update
Starting the new installed Firefox browser:
If everything worked correctly you should have a new menu entry under:
Application / Internet - Minefield 3.5 Web Browser (The Bleeding Edge)
If you cannot see a new entry do this:
Application | Add/Remove
Search and add --> Shiretoko
Now the new entry should be there :D
Enjoy
