I am thinking of getting a 13.1 inch laptop to carry between work and home. I was thinking of getting one of these Belkin docking stations, that would enable me to use the laptop with an existing Keyboard, Mouse and monitor.

I need to use Windows at work, so the Belkin would be used for this. I will stick Ubuntu on this laptop for home use.

From your experience, are these any good.

I have heard good things about these THINKPADS.

Unfortunately I dont think IBM do a docking station with these as that would probably be the best thing to use.

We bought 2 of those for work, one to work with a Dell laptop, and one for a Toshiba Tecra. They sucked. I mean, they REALLY sucked. We fobbed them off to some poor ******* on eBay. Avoid like the plague.
