Go to the Networking subforum and do a search on BCM5705. You'll find a couple of posts that provide lots of details.

The cards realtek and broadcom nics have now detected thus they show up under the network icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

The issue now seems to be the in ability of the network card to connect to the adsl modems weither it be my billion 7404VGO or my D-link 502T unit.

Im un able to log into either of their admin screens or communicate to the internet.

All Ubuntu internet connections have been set to Auto DHCP and IP addresss but with no results. even ping doesnt see the routers.

all help apreciated
