Comix is nice I was using that before Pinux. I also like Chameleon

Nice find. I never bother to change my mouse cursor anymore, but I will now. A few years ago I used Comix cursor on Mandriva.
edit: on second thought, the shadow is annoying the hell out of me.

i don't notice any difference did i do something wrong? i chose ubantero under pointer

Open up the GIMP or something and watch the loading icon.
Also notice the shadow under your cursor.

loading icon is still the spinny circle. i see the spinny ubuntu logo in nautilus though. don't know if its cool or if it just slows down nautilus browsing

You need to log out and log in again. :)

Nice find. I toyed with that idea a couple years ago using crystal cursors as the base.

edit: I like this one much better than mine! The spinning logo is smoother.

Wow, it is cool all right, never thought of changing my cursor theme before reading your post. changed now, something new for my "old" ubuntu default theme
