Hi all, sorry to pester you all again, but is there a way to set up my login screen to an image of my choice?

You would have to create your own GDM theme. It is fairly easy to do.
Do you have the image which you want to use?

If so i can quickly do it for you if you wish?

Click new reply at the bottom left of my post. On the next page scroll down and click "manage attachments" browse to the image and attach it. then type a post and send the post.

If you want to send it privately,let me know and will arrange it :)

I'm intersted in learning how to do it. Is there a website and program you would suggest?

There is not a progrm (that I know of.)
But I could give you a .tar.gz with one of my first themes in (real basic and similar to the default one) that is commented really heavily telling you what everything says?

I just learnt by changing variables.
I have only just started playing with changing position of objects, so I can not really currently advise you on that.
When I learn how to do positioning aswell I will turn it into a guide for the community.
