Okay, I don't wanna get flamed for this, being mainly a Linux support forum, but I didn't know where else to ask. (Allthough my cluster questions never get any replies on here.)
My main computer is an Acer desktop with Windows Vista Ultimate (x64) with 2GB RAM and and AMD Dual Core Processor. So far this (and my laptop with same specs) is the best PC i've owned, but i could still use a little boost.
I started wanting to make an Ubuntu cluster with a few old desktops I had (1GB ram to 128mb), but i still have yet to be able to do that. Then I had a better idea - why have 2 computers; 1 clustered 'nix and 1 winVista, when I could just cluster it all to add power to my main Desktop?
I was wondering if there is any way that people know of that i can make 4-5 desktops cluster and my Windows Vista box be the main master node??
Google has failed me yet again.
NOTE: I cannot/will not uninstall the current Vista or partition it for Linux. it has to stay the way it is (i will install regular software, though.)
THanks in advance.
