View Full Version : [ubuntu] How can i make my Ubuntu based Distro?

Hello! I want to make my own ubuntu based distro. I wanot to change everythiiing(logo near the applications, usplash, add applications, restricted drivers etc)

I thought if a make a new installation of ubuntu, customize it by mysefl and choices and then make a backup it to create a live cd with choice of installation to a pc..

Any good tutorial or faq?

With remastersys every time a user puts the live cd on his computer can he install my distro?

and one last thing.. do you know how can i change the first menu from the live cd?

(you know.. "install ubuntu", "boot from first hard disk" etc etc)
and the logo?
