View Full Version : [ubuntu] How can I change Nautilus to look like this?

July 21st, 2009, 12:31 AM
Whenever I go to places-home Nautilus always opens the folder weird. It doesn't show the Location Bar, and the Back, forward,up, or stop buttons. The only way I can make this look like it's supposed to is when I right click the folder and click Browse Folder.

I attached examples of what I mean.

Is View > Side Pane & Main toolbar etc.checked?

When I do "Browse Folder", yes. But when I open Home from the menu it doesn't give me an option.

Good catch. I missed that one.

Just a side note, root vs. regular users profiles are also different.
