Ive been trying to run ubuntu from a wubi install on a SATA drive. It gives an error about wubdrl not found and dies out. I read on wubi's site that software(fake) raid support was going to be added for the 8.10 release. I tried with the 9.04 release and it still doesnt work. Are there any workarounds for this?
thankya

the support for raid is in the alternate text based installer (http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/downloadmirrors#alternate). I don't know if wubi has support for it though.

Thank you for the URLs but they dont mention using wubi for the install, only a normal installation. Can wubi be used to install ubuntu that way in the howto?
